			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="https://www.agriculturefcu.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Agriculture Federal Credit Union</a> has a special no penalty IRA CD available. The certificate of deposit has a 60 month term with 3.00% APY. Although this is a bit low for a 5 year term, it&#8217;s a no penalty CD meaning you can withdraw your money at any time so if you find a better deal you can go ahead and take it. This CD <a href="https://www.agriculturefcu.org/products/savings/ira.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">special </a>is still available as of 1/19/2010.</p>
<p>You can withdraw the entire amount and all interest will be included with the withdrawal up to the date that the withdrawal was made. You can request this by phone, email, or mail.</p>
<p>AFCU&#8217;s field of membership includes members of CityDance Ensemble. CityDance has open membership to anyone that pays membership dues of $20.00. This membership can be done at the same time that you apply for credit union membership. They have an online membership application in which you can join CityDance for $20 and join the credit union for a $5 initial deposit to the Primary Share account. You do not have to renew your CityDance membership to maintain membership at the credit union.</p>
<p>The field of membership also includes those who live, work or worship in Washington DC plus other group affiliations.</p>
<p>Branches are located in Washington DC, Riverdale, Maryland, and Alexandria, Virginia. AFCU is also part of National Shared Branching network in which you can use local credit unions to access your account and conduct many transactions.<strong><br />

Minimum deposit for all certificates is $1,000, and new money to the credit union is required. Both regular and IRA certificates are available.</p>
<p>Membership is open to anyone who lives, works or worships in one of two dozen counties in North Carolina, in portions of Greenville County, South Carolina, and in parts of a few counties in Virginia. Membership requires a minimum balance of $5 in the Regular Savings Account.</p>
<p>Branches are located throughout North Carolina including the cities of Burlington, Charlotte, Greensboro and Winston-Salem. Branches are also in Greenville, South Carolina, in Richmond, Virginia and in Canton, Ohio.</p>
<p>The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA, and it&#8217;s a rather large credit union with $1.2 billion in assets and 181,191 members.</p>
