Amalgamated Bank is currently offering a competitive 15-month CD special with a rate of 2.90% APY. Minimum deposit is $500, and the maximum deposit is $99,000. In order to get this rate you need to open a checking account as well.
The checking account has a $1 minimum deposit, and it must remain open during the term of the CD. At least two transactions must be made to keep the account active.
