I’m really disappointed with IgoBanking.
Their website is miserable, they have multiple issue when you do transfers (some of their bugs are susceptible also to block you account). The limits for transfer is fluctuating and not disclosed to you upfront, the delay for transfer is soooo slowwwww: up to ten days to complete a transfer.
I can’t close my account (they will charge me fee), but I will try to remove all but $1 if I can.
Beware, choose another online bank.
theyve been good to me so far
Igobanking messes up their funding transfers and draws from the wrong account. This happened with me and I was charged overages. Then I sent them an email to ask them about it and they never replied. Talk about poor business. I am closing my account and going with a different bank, one that cares about their customers.
They are VERY SLOW to process my online application in which I also had to mail two proofs of required ID for further processing. Applied when the rate was 3.08% the week of January 26. I suppose it’s because they know that they will be further dropping the rate and are doing their best to give the lowest interest rate that I can possibly tolerate.
I’d recommend FNBO Direct instead:

The bank is awful. They hold your money for direct deposit longer then specified. And the fail to disclose the proper available balance. And they they charge fees. What good is interest if they are charging fees. The bill pay and transfer is so crazy never a specific time frame. To pay mortgage to bank and get it there on time, they will withdraw it early if it means the bal won’t be available till the following day. Then if it is there, they wait to take it out and the mortgage company gets it late. It seems that they hold more than the 3 business days specified in their FAQ. Worse than the bank I left from to get interest!!
I have two CD’s with this bank, and the first one was opened fairly easy – The second, being funded with $10,000 at a 3.15% rate took over 2 weeks for them to open and then they opened it at 2.75% – They say the rate is at the time they fund the account. They ignored ALL requests for a status until they lowered the rate and now I am stuck losing .5% for 5 years. Their customer service can really suck.
