Just opened a 1yr. CD at GMAC. I applied online and funded it via ACH- (electronic transfer). After I completed the App. and made the transfer,my statement said the CD was opened (same day)and gave me the maturity date.
Open CD- 6/25/07, Maturity 6/25/08. Darn, the was simple. I checked my CD account the next day and it told me the ACH from my bank took place at 1;58 AM. That was 9 hours after I completed the App.
