KeyBank Checking Account Bonus
Key Bank is currently offering a few of the best checking account bonuses available. You can earn either $125 or $225 in cash by opening a new checking account with Key Bank.
To get the $125 bonus you need to open the Key Express Free Checking Account or Key Advantage Money Market Checking Account. The money market account pays an interest rate but it’s a pretty low rate. After opening the account, you need to make one non pin debit card transaction, as well as two direct deposits or automated payments of $100 or more each.
To get the $225 bonus, you need to open the Key Privilege Checking Account or the Key Privilege Select Chcking Account. The difference here is that these checking accounts include a lot more services and also come with higher minimum balances and requirements to avoid paying a monthly fee. These could be considered “full service” checking accounts that you should open if you’re looking to use Key Bank as your primary bank.
After opening the checking account, you must make one non pin debit card transaction as well as two direct deposits or automated payments of $100 or more each.
You can open accounts online, but this offer is not available nationwide. Key Bank serves customers in 14 states, including AK, CO, CT, ID, IN, KY, ME, MI, NY, OH, OR, UT, VT, and WA. Key Bank is FDIC insured. This offer ends on 11/20/2009.

karen, you dont always have to use a pin. You can ask the person ringing you up to put your purchase through as a credit card. another way is to order something offline, (again processed as a credit card)
there are a few ways now. chase even offers “blink” where there is actually a chip in your card and you just touch it aganist the vending machine
