ING Direct has a free $50 bank bonus for opening a new ING Direct electric orange checking account.
In order to qualify for the bonus, you have to:
- Open a new checking account
- Activate your Electric Orange Mastercard debit card
- Use your Electric Orange Card to make 3 or more signature based (not pin based) purchases within the first 45 days
After these conditions have been met, you will automatically receive the $50 bonus.
Balances under $50,000 recieve 0.25%, balances between 50k and 100k receive 1.60%, and balances over 100k receive 1.65% APY.
